Step 4 (out of 4) – Check Your Subscription Details

If you want to make sure the registration was successful just go to ‘Settings‘ » ‘Subscription‘, or right-click on the Avast systray icon and select ‘Registration information‘. The subscription window should appear and there you will see if you are registered and how many days left until the registration expires (by default it is 365 days).

My name is Paul and I love Avast since the Home Edition v4.8 (2008). I am recommending it to all my friends, but I realized they don't know how to use it. So I started this site in order to help others getting maximum from this awesome antivirus. Feel free to contact me via Facebook, comments below or this form.

Avast free AV keeps wanting to charge me $1.49 a month. I have done the above process, but it will not re-register me for 2018. I have had it for almost three years. The article says free “forever,” but I feel I am being forced to pay. Please explain & let me know what I need to do to keep the free version of Avast!, if possible. Thank you.
