5 Ways to Improve your Android Phone’s Performance Today
Having a slow phone can be unbelievably frustrating. When we’ve become accustomed to lightning quick…
Although it’s not yet a year 2018, Avast has releasing a new program update which is being referred to as Avast 2018 (official version 17.7.2314). It comes with two brand new features Webcam Shield and Driver Updater, unfortunately both are paid only. Quite surprisingly there no change to the user interface. Only SecureLine VPN component and Virus Chest got bit of a refreshed design.
Webcam Shield does what it says, it protects your webcam from being hacked and spying on you. So you no longer need to cover your laptop webcam with ugly sticker. Unfortunately this feature is premium and available only in Avast Premier.
Driver Updater scans your system drivers and automatically updates them if they are outdated. Outcome should be faster and more stable computer. How it is different compared to Software Updater component? Well, that one takes care only about your programs, not drivers. Driver Updater works as additional software and starts at $1.99 for 1 month.
As always you can try the new version completely for free, including the premium products Pro Antivirus, Internet Security and Premier. If you are not interested in the details, you can go directly to download links.

Although we have used Avast Free Antivirus 2018 and Avast Premier 2018 screenshots in this article, new version is available for all Avast Antivirus solutions (i.e. also for Avast Pro Antivirus, Avast Internet Security, or Avast Premier).
Avast 2017 should be compatible with all Windows versions – Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10.
Please note it’s still just a beta version and probably contains lot of bugs. We recommend installing it on the Virtual Machine.
