At the end of April AVAST has made a very interesting acquisition of German company…
Shortly after the official acquisition of the AVG company, Avast is also coming out with the new brand identity. That means changing the company logo and colors, but don’t worry it’s rather a facelift and the famous orange and amoeba (for some ‘blob’) stays.
The image below clearly shows a difference between the new logo and the old one. It has a slightly different shape (more cleaner), new orange, missing ‘!’ and ‘be free‘ tagline. Overall it’s now much easier to read ‘avast‘ in it.
The way how Avast was thinking when redesigning the logo is also clear from this video.
Besides changing the logo, Avast is also having a brand new color pallet. So besides orange, get ready to also see more purple. Anyway we love the new logo, how about you?
