1. Go to Language Settings
Open your Avast antivirus and navigate to settings (cog-wheel icon in the top right corner) » ‘General‘. In the ‘Language‘ drop down list check if the desired language is available. If not simply click on the ‘Install additional languages‘ link.

2. Select the Desired Language(s)
From the list of 46 languages select the one (or more) you want to install. You can easily switch between the installed languages. Once you’re done with the selection just click on the ‘OK‘ button.

3. Let Program Install the Language(s)
Avast will now download and install the selected language(s). Please note the Internet connection is needed. Once the process finish click the ‘Done‘ button.

4. Switch to Installed Language
Select the installed language from the drop-down list in the ‘General‘ settings and click on the ‘OK‘ button.

5. Program Language is Changed
That’s it and now your Avast antivirus language is changed.
