My name is Paul and I love Avast since the Home Edition v4.8 (2008). I am recommending it to all my friends, but I realized they don't know how to use it. So I started this site in order to help others getting maximum from this awesome antivirus. Feel free to contact me via Facebook, comments below or this form.

I’m using Avast Free Antivirus version 12.3.2280 with Windows 10. The Avast language setting has only English installed, so a language other than English cannot be selected. Nevertheless, the Avast sidebar (which opens when the Avast icon in the toolbar is clicked) displays only Hebrew. If I delete the Hebrew keyboard from Windows 10, the Avast sidebar displays only blank spaces. How can I get the Avast sidebar to display English instead of Hebrew?

My copy of Avast Mobile Security somehow changed from English to something that looks like Hungarian or Croatian. Naturally, I can’t figure out the menu to switch back!

Do I simply uninstall and reinstall??

The installation program is not using the proper OS language setting. Instead of looking at Region/Formats/Format it should look at the CultureUIInfo.

    Please train your developers accordingly.

Avast! Free 2015 (10.7) does not seem to have these options. It has far fewer settings. Or am I missing something?
