In this article series we are introducing the secret Avast features which are completely for free and you probably never heard about them before. All these useful features are available in the latest Avast Antivirus 2016. Today let’s take a look on Avast Silent Mode.

Silent Mode – Say Goodbye to Annoying Pop-ups

Avast Silent/Gaming Mode is available in the free version for many years. When turned on your Avast is totally quiet so you never see any pop-up notification or upgrade offer but still you are getting the same level of protection.

Back in the days it was mostly used by PC gamers to make sure Avast won’t bother them when playing their favorite game. Nowadays everyone can benefit out of it because Avast can be sometimes a bit obtrusive with the pop-up messages asking for update/upgrade.
